Besides the original or Shin Godzilla, this might be my favorite of the Godzilla films.

I truly enjoyed this film, there was a lot of complexity to our main character and our supporting characters, and even the villains. It is not the action-packed ape battles that we got in Dawn, Rise, or War. This is a movie with more subtlety. I like the themes and the messages that this one provides and the cinematography and CGI. Out of five I gave it a 3.5/5

Marvel has really taken a step up in the animation department. It picks right back up where the original left off and really flushes out the characters and gives us some great moments and sad ones as well. The animation is incredible, and I could not be more happy with the finished product we get this time around even 30 years later.
